Counseling Style:
My counseling style is influenced by a variety of therapy modalities and interventions. I see building a trusting, respectful relationship as the foundation to meaningful therapy. I draw on a relational, psychoanalytic and existential theory to understand a client’s experience. Clients can also expect to learn practice skills such as mindfulness strategies, mind-body practices, and cognitive interventions to effectively feel better in daily life.

Issues Explored in Counseling:
I support clients struggling with depression, anxiety, grief/loss, trauma-related concerns, relationship difficulties, identity concerns, self-esteem and more. Counseling is different for each person and I understand that individual experience may not fit neatly into one of these categories.

Insurance & Payment:
I currently accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Optum (United & Harvard Pilgrim) insurance plans, as well as out-of-network and self-pay clients.
